Hey guys,
I'm getting the itch to start working on the boat again (and its not cold outside) so I've started collecting more parts again. One thing I have seen a few times now are people adding a manual backup (like teleflex or something) to the electric linear actuator for steering their fan. I'm not planning on doing that, but I'm wondering how many people have added a backup and do people feel its really necessary? I realize it could kill a night of fishing or a tourney, but how many people have actually had an issue where the actuator went down on them and they couldn't steer?
