It planes tail end high right i shot fingers all last bowfishing season so i dont consider it new to me it does it with a release when hooked straight to the string
Could be your nock moved? Tail high typically is nock point high but it can also be nock way too low causing tail to impact rest and flip high.

Edit - This is your best friend for $8 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Square-one-...nock-point-BPE-made-USA-/361233992438?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item541b394af6

Might be at local bow shop for less.

as its well known on here we/I shoot more pounds than a normal person...as do the majority out here....anyway....we have been for many, many years ,most of those years were with plain ole white shafts...and killed many, many, many fish, without our arrows side slapping the water.Your bow/rest is out of tune

Agree with Kuger on this one, ALL arrows flex when shot from a bow, recurve, compound, longbow doesn't matter, aluminum ,cedar, carbon arrows doesn't matter,ALL arrows flex when shot it's called archers paradox, just like all gun barrels flex or whip when shot. Check youtube on slow motion/High speed video of both and see how violent a bow and gun can be, yes some are stiffer and spines different but a solid glass arrow at low poundage most of us shoot I doubt is your issue, yes an arrow that's not straight is an issue but figure we aren't shooting X spots or 3D targets at 30-60yds either. Come on 10-15 yds or less is the norm my money still on rest adjustment or tuning...

on the bows I have the bullet rest on after it leaves the rest it,s going in a straight line. where ever the bullet points that's where its headed.

I am not a fan of OMP,at all.....and almost ashamed to admit it,but I tried the Fin Finder rest and almost liked it....until I tightened it down and cracked it....semi good idea, horrible quality,and.......LOOK DOWN THAT SHAFT or roll it...OMP arrows are notorious for being bent like grannies finger

That's what im experiencing i can tighten that screw down and still move the rest. And also a normal arrow shaft will slide fine in it up till the nock a you can feel resistance since the nock is wider than arrow shaft.

What bows are you guys using inreally want to find an oneida because they look cool and im tired of my snappy 80% letoff bear even with finger savers it still pinches pretty bad.
Thats a whole separate topic thats been covered a bunch, you may be able to find some oneida suggestions in previous threads. I myself shoot an Osprey and i love it. I think there is a combination of issues here. 1) crappy arrows 2) a narrow channeled rest that makes alot of contact with those arrows 3) centerflight out of alignment 4) retriever adding drag to the right side making your arrow fly more tail right 5) short ATA bow increases pinch and torque on the string. If the arrow flies only a little nock high, i'd leave it that way. It will penetrate the water and plane out slower

My ospreys are really finicky! I put quick draw rest on both my ospreys and couldn't get them shooting perfect bullet holes i dont know what it was. I have shot tons of archery from nasp in the 5th grade till after I graduated and then shot indoors and 3d for a few years. I'm just saying I have a pretty good idea on tuning bows but these thing are touchy as crap. I ended up putting my cut down muzzy fish hooks back on them and they shot better. On my newest osprey no matter how I move my rest left and right my arrow still kicks tail end right. I had the center shot perfect and it still kicked. I though it was my release but my other oneida shoots perfect. I re timed it and tryed diffrent arrows and everything. i dont know y it constantly kicks tail end right so I got it as close as I could and gave up trying to make it perfect. What would make one kick the same way every time no matter how you move the rest left and right? The nocking point it's set just a touch higher than the rest bolt hole and the arrow is about Half way below the hole.

maybe it isn't your bow. With the popularity of the sport it is becoming more important to check your arrows for spine issues. Quality control may be lacking.

Try tuning the arrow just over the top of the shelf... On my Osprey/Black Eagle i've shot quick draws, epoxies, fish hooks, and my current rest is a Fullbore machined rest and all of them have given me perfect arrow flight with a good arrow. Have you checked timing and looked for limb twist? And are you shooting a bottle or spinner? If you shoot bottles, the side drag could be making the issue worse

I have went over everything. I have tryed a coue different arrows also. I shot for prolly 2 hours moving my nocking point and also moving my rest around. I finally got it set then one of the last couple shots my finger slicks finally gave out so I pulled the string off of it and put a new slick on it and it was off again. Also I use to shoot 3 under when I shot my menaces but my oneides shoot better 1 over. I am use to 1 over now after shooting it all last year it still just makes me wonder y it shoots terrible 3 under and good 1 over. When shooting 3 under it kicks tail down and bad right. The one that is shooting weird is a med draw with 60% let off and my short draw 80% let off shoots perfect. It's weird and about pissed me off.

Ok, without a draw board you would not know (maybe a local bow shop has one) but you could have a timing problem (one came rolls over faster than the other) taking up the string quicker on top or bottom that will cause an issue. Just an idea.

I also shot a bow once, don't remember the brand, it hated a particular rest. I think I had a quick draw on it at the time, never an issue on any other bow. I threw on a muzzy and it went from tearing paper (paper tuning) every shot to a perfect bullet hole. No idea why, it didn't make sense but I just left the Muzzy on that bow and never took it off.

Short story to say, try a couple different rests if everything else is wearing you out.

I also tuned a BowTech bow for my boy, it shot perfect bullet holes for me, he tore the paper hard every time. We tried different arrows, adjusting rest, nock, he tried different grips, open hand, closed hand, different release. Days and days fighting it. I got rid of the whisker biscuit and installed a drop away, no more problems. BUT, I could shoot it and he could not but I never identified why.

So, if you like the bow, it will be a trial and error. Frustrating I know, been there done that on his.

I had the same exact luck with a Quickdraw, and I think it was on a D2 I had.For the life of me I cant, and never did figure that one out
