you can go to TVA website (or app) or explorekylake.com it will give you the levels and expected outflow of each dam. My guess is it will be loaded to the gills with boats

FWG, do you think below the KY dam will be busy this coming Tuesday. I want to think it won't since everyone will be going back to work after Memorial Day. Do you also think the fishing will be good? Driving from SEMO and hate to make a trip if it won't be any good or too crowded. Thanks a ton.

The last time I was at Barclay dam we got there on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and it was a zoo. By Monday night everyone had cleared out and we had the place pretty much to ourselves for the next couple days, including KY dam.

Just fished Tennessee River and Cumberland river today all day. Water was brown/amber color and silvers were pretty and bigheads were hard to find and absolutely disgusting. Major sores all over their body with lots of infection. There was very little fight left in these fish and most shots where mercy shots to put these fish out of their misery. Took us all day to get a half a barrel. Probably one of the most disgusting days of Bowfishing I have ever had. Fish were not "fresh" at all. We had flys bowing the barrel while we were still fishing. Never had that happen before. Very disappointing trip compared to the last two trip we've had previously.

Not only that but even with all the signs stating not to dump fish in the parking lot, there were putrid rotting maggot infested Asian carp in the boat parking lot of the Tennessee river boat ramp. Hundreds of bloated dead Asian carp could be found floating all around the area of the dam.
