I got some LEDs last year. They are crap from china but I have been able to make them work so far. Have had issues with them lately smoking drivers. It seems like it always happens toward the end of the night when the batteries get low. I'll shut off one or two of the lights to save some juice and then they don't come back on or one will just go out on it's own when the battery gets low. They weren't cheap but they were from China. I'm just trying to limp by one more season on them and then go with some good see-lite 80 watt lights next year.
Is it common to have issues like this when the batteries get low? If so, would running them on 24 volt set ups work better? Right now I have 10 50 watt LEDs 5 going to one battery and 5 to the other. All lights are ran to a junction box, 25 amp in-line fuse and a 30 amp toggle switch. Ideas, suggestions?
