Anyone here ever go to the Mobile bay area to bow fish? Have heard the Bay minette basin is a good place to go.

Bay Minette Basin has been average at best for the last few years. It has been a last resort spot for us if the wind is up since it is somewhat protected. There are SSOO many other good spots down here that make Bay Minette Basin look like an unstocked pond. If you don't have a fan boat you won't find much shootable water as it is really weedy right now during the hot summer months.

Any suggested areas to try with a outboard or mud motor

Chuckfee Bay is a decent place for mud motors/trollers. It typically doesnt choke out like most other areas..........but I have not been there this year so can't say for sure.
