Long story short, I met a guy through work that has a 3d printer. I was instantly intrigued and expressed and intrest in having a rest made for my BE1, since I can't get an Esper rest for it. So today I brought the guy my bow, showed him my epoxy rest, and asked him if he could duplicate something similar.

We popped the epoxy rest off my bow, he's going to print me one up tonight as a favor. If it works out, I could have a batch printed up, however I'd have to make a dozen or 2 to keep the cost per rest reasonable. This would include the materials, his programming and machine run time. Is there any intrest in a group buy "epoxy" style rest for the BE1?

Should I made my epoxy rest removable by doing the electricians tape first then a dab of silicone to hold it on. I have your # and will text you a pic of my ugly "hotdog roll" rest, if it works or Gary wants I will remold a pretty one if can get some produced, this one shoots good for me...

Pretty dang close, look at the rest and can see is angled ever so slightly in pic, but looks centered, I have to round the square edge slightly where riser and shelf meet to have it fit my BE, just haven't gotten around to it but the rest looks solid and well made, that was on my sons Stealth and fit at riser and shelf looked pretty good as well as center shot , just a little long and nothing being careful with a bandsaw can't cure

Looking pretty good. :tu: If I could make one suggestion- cut the rear corner off the rest so the line doesn't catch. That would be some simple surfacing on your model, or hack it off after it's printed. I see that you run Solidworks, so if you need surfacing help, let me know.

I'd like to see how the cap turns out. That would be much lighter than aluminum and a heckuva lot cheaper to make.
