We started out with a junky motor and put a 73 Merc 50hp motor on her that we got for about $250. rewired all the controls and built the deck. Nothing special but still something were proud of

just a tip... take off all the cages on the lights
they will tangle your line and reflect light back at you
roll on bedliner with some sand will make that a nice little deck

good looking build guys!

i never knew the cages would affect the lighting. Learned something new and we got some black outdoor paint and mixed sand in it like you said and it works perfect. we just put that together in 2 weeks so we could have a boat when i went home on leave. Plan on putting a raised deck and redoing all the old carpet and wood inside the boat. Not a bad boat for about $600

We were jsut gonna put carpet in there cause we got some xtra until we can afford rhino lining. And another quick question, you know anyone that has an Oneida for sale? ive messaged people in the classifieds but never get a response back. really annoying :headbang:

You can get a gallon kit of hurculiner for less than 80 dollars and its really easy to put on. I put it on my boat and really like it.

don't use herculiner on the deck, use restore from home depot, 30 dollars for 2 gallons and that stuff is awesome! just like bed liner only for outdoor decking, and you can get any color you want.
