This might sound stupid, but ive never owned a boat motor that didnt have a gas disconnect on the outside of the engine. The fuel lines go into the engine and dont have a way to disconnect it unless you just take the other end off the gas tank. But 1) thats a lot of fuel still in the line and 2) the suction flattens the bulb and seems like it isnt the best way.
Like i said, this is the first nice motor ive owned and it looks like a spaceship under the cowling compared to stuff im used to. Should there be a fuel shut-off switch or something? I run the gas out of all my toys every time i use them and this motor is the most expensive toy i own.
