BEWARE OF OMP- FinFinder Arrows. THEY ARE JUNK And they will not Warranty Them>>>>>>

BEWARE OF OMP- FinFinder Arrows.
I bought 20 of there shafts.
Out of the 20, I got 3 that were straight enough to use for bow fishing.
I contacted the company. They told me there was nothing they could do. They could not refund or exchange as the arrows were discontinued. I then went to their web site and they are still for sale on their site.
They will not stand behind their products.
These arrows should have never made it to the consumers. Quality control should have yanked every one of them before the left the factory.
They will not stay in business long if they do not stand behind their crappy products.
I just bought a bunch of their products. Now I am going to get rid of it all and I will never use an OMP Product again.

They are finfinder shafts. i talked to Bowfishing extreme. Innerlocs say Glass max on them. i spoke to Connie today at Innerloc. I am Friends with them from when I was a sales rep. She said they do not make arrows for OMP.

The Pink, Blue and plain orange shafts are OMP shafts and they are CRAP>>>> I have not spoke to a retailer yet, that has got any thing good to say about OMP shafts.

I can't imagine all of this publicity does a company any good at all. I know if I was involved with that company, I would do anything I could to make it right and perform some actual customer service.

glad i didnt buy any of em lol i cant play a fiddle for nothin lol sounds like a mass produced piece of crap. i dont understand why someone can just come out with something and it be like that and them know it and still just sit there n twiddle there thumbs n not say anything about it. it would be nice to just take a road trip down there n line them fellers up ya talked to n shoot them warped shafts at them. hey i gots an idea send em to ky bighead lol he been shootin crooked with his new favorite toy. them things might have just enough hook in em to make him shoot straight

There ya go....

I havent seen any of their arrows, so I cant say nothing about them, However, OMP's finger savers... well they slide up and down the arrow too easy, have to put nock rings all over the string to keep them in place. Only reason I got em is cause my G/F wanted blue instead of the brown...

They need to do some more R/D on their products and quit spending so much time pushing their products on facebook in my opinion.

The Staffers get all the hand picked stuff. Defect free. We consumers get all the crap with left turns in them. I swear some of them have almost an inch of bow in them. How the hell does that make it past quality control. Oh Yeah, Thats right. OMP has NO QUALITY CONTROL.

HERE IS A NICE GIFT I JUST RECEIVED::::: I GUESS THE VOICE OF BFC HAS A LOT OF POWER>>>>>>>

Doug,

Good Morning. My name is Dave Parker and I am the Sales Manager for Kinsey Archery/October Mountain Products which is the parent brand to Fin Finder Bowfishing. I have been made aware of your dissatisfaction with your purchase of an older version of the Fin Finder Raider shafts that you purchased from an on-line retailer. Please accept our apologies as I will have to take the sword on this one as I will explain.

Matt Smith informed me last week of a customer who had purchased 20 discontinued Raider shafts and is making claim that 17 of them are unusable and that the customer would like replacement. Please understand Doug, we have sold many thousands of Raider shafts and have not had 17 returns total in over two years that this product was on the market so it did not seem like a credible claim to me. That is what I told Matt my feeling was. Matt responded to you based on what I had told him. My intention was to get back to Matt after giving it some thought as to how to resolve this positively for you. Matt took the initiative to get back to you promptly and he informed you that we couldn’t replace the shafts based on what I told him before I had a chance to create a resolution. Well, I became involved in another issue and did not get back to Matt with a resolution before the end of the day. My bad, not an excuse, but that is what happened and it is my fault. Bad timing and miscommunication on our end. To leave you with product you weren’t satisfied with was not my intention but unfortunately that is how it turned out. 100% my fault.

We are going to send to you today, 20 of the 2011 version of the Fin Finder Raider bowfishing shafts as replacement for the ones your purchased. I am also going to send you 3 of the new Fin Finder Hydro-Glass arrow with Penetrator point and installed Lumenock. This is the first generation of bowfishing arrows with the Hydro-Tek nock system. I think you will find it to be a premier product. I am also going to send you the new Fin Finder Hydro-Glide arrow rest for you to try. Please accept these along with our apologies.

Again, I offer my apologies and assurance that our company is founded on premier Customer Service, albeit this was not a good example. We have been an industry leader for over 60 years and we are one of the most trusted and respected companies in the Archery Industry. When we launched the Fin Finder brand we committed ourselves to bringing high quality innovative products to the bowfishing community. The overwhelming response we have enjoyed from the bowfishing community has confirmed we are on the right track. I am confident you will continue to see Fin Finder continue to bring exciting new products to the bowfishing market.

If I can be of service any further in regards to this issue or at any time please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Good shooting,

Respectfully,

Dave Parker

Glad your getting some stuff sent to ya. Hope they're better this time (gonna bet your probably gonna get a hand picked batch this time), but if nothing else at least you'll get a few luminoks outta the deal. Just goes to show, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!! I wish I had found this post about two hours earlier the other day. I just bought two OMP Fin Finders at a local shop, 'cause hey, that orange color is pretty sharp lookin' and the heads have big fat barbs on them. I saw this post and checked both arrows and sure as SH*&$T they're bowed. Luckily I still have the receipt, hopefully I can return 'em. I think that driveway reflectors (with the reflector still on them) would shoot better then these two pieces o' garbage.

On a brighter note, the Bohnning arrow that I bought last summer is workin' great with the homemade barb tip I put on it. No more OMP for ME!!

I'm torn....on one hand they were ready to stick it up in ya until they came across this thread....then on the other hand I have to give it up to all of US for standing behind a fellow bowfisherman and saying that we would NOT buy their products and stop shooting what we had of theirs. I do get a warm feeling knowing that if we pull together we can get something accomplished...however, I still will not buy their products based on their gut reaction to your claim. I hope it all works out for you...I think you should respectfully decline his offer and demand something more for the grief they caused you...make him buy you 20 yellow jackets and a bowfishing extreme reel holder...demand something stupid just for your trouble...

Based on this thread, most people bit the bullet and kept them. They still didn't believe the shafts were junk.....looks like damage control rather than customer service!
