I have a 18ft gutted out bass tracker hull im wanting to put a fan on it.. i have someone thatll sell me a 18 hp motor is that big enough and would push it pretty decent to get me through stuff or should i try to get ahold of a bigger motor?

How wide is the boat? 18hp would likely be enough with the right reduction/prop. It won't be a monster but will fish

Its about 6ft wide.. ive never tried buildin a fan or had one but im tryin to set one up. what would be the ideal size motor? and what size prop should i prolly run if i used the 18
