Luck of the draw and moon phases. I just stay dark to light up and fish it all! Lol

In my very un-professional experience, we shoot way more (and bigger) fish the first few hours after dark. I have stayed out all night before, but the most action is generally before midnight. Just my .02, be sure to take it for what it is worth.

The guy I fish with don't stay out past midnight unless the fishings hot and heavy so I don't know about the hours before sunup but seems like the biggest fish we get into are right after sundown. I need to get my own boat.

I just gotta ask what's the deal with the 666? And for the thread I shoot fish from sundown to sun up but shoot most of my better fish about an hour n half before all the way up to sunrise
my full name Daniel Colton Strahl, each has 6 letters. Same with my sister name. 3,6,9 have always been my favorite numbers. Idk just like to put it. Everyone calls me the anti christ just joking around but im far from it

Shot'em at all hours. Best fish I have ever taken was a 46# common. shot it at 1 am in a cut where they were thick and spawning. In my opinion doesn't really matter what time it is you just gotta be there when the fish are there.

There are guys out there that will swear by the moon phase calendar and the fishing/hunting report the put in the newspaper for best times to fish/hunt but theres guys out there that don't care about it at all and they all seem to do ok. Sometimes I think its just knowing where your hunting and having some luck to go with it.

I usually dont see many fish right after dark-seems to take em a little time to 'move up'. BUT, thats not always the case. No real pattern. Ive shot em at all times of thenight during all phases of the moon.

Only thing that is a constant is mid/late summer absolutely SUCKS!
