Some body give the answer. Couple of years ago we were snagging march 15 and I saw schools of them feeding and it was cold as chit dont rember the water temb.
I have shot them below the dams at Ky and Barkley in March. Unless we have a real warm spring you will find them on the Ohio AROUND mid June. The lakes sit there and cook from the sun and thats why they are up first on the tailwaters and they will spawn there first also. They spawn around 60 degrees.
