Its 4 separate events that are BAA sanctioned (will be). there will also be a separate points system for them. 1st place 1 point 2nd 2 points so on...

now that the $hat has flung off the fan... I like the idea & it sounds like these will be real #'s shoots for those that can, I'm surely not one of them but may attend to help fatten up the prize pot for everyone else LOL

maybe in a few years there'll be different waters in this series?

I don't like numbers shoots...but it is what this sport is suppose to be about...killing as many invasive unwanted species as we can...i wish there was a way to combine it all together...i think it could be done but of course is prolly too much work like 1 fish is 3 points and 1 pound is 1 point...if u shoot 300 fish that has a total weight of 450# u get 1350 points and if u only shoot 100 fish but have 900# it's 1200 points...i think the 3 to 1 point would help people shoot any fish...but this I guess isn't really for this thread...i don't go to numbers shoots or weight shoots expecting to win anyways cuz we never find enuf fish and it seems like somebody always shoots alot more bigger than us lol...but I HAVE A BLAST...and it's nice seeing an talking to everyone from all over...depending if i can get free I will prolly try to make any on ky lake

Yes...that's why I said it's not appropriate for this event just giving my opinion about possibly implementing something like this some time to see how it works and not having all fussing and whining both groups can have and get to killing fish and helping the native species. ..all the numbers are better weight is better bs is getting old...i just wanna kill fish which is why I go to both knowing I will never be able to compete w most numbers shooters it's for the fun and comradery

So (40) 1# shad would be 40x3=120 +1pt per # for 40lbs for 160 pts , and (1) 40# grasscarp would be (1)x3 for 3 pts + 1pt per # for 43 pts and still favors numbers and would never work,Let it be a numbers shoot and everyone knows what they are getting into and go for. Never gonna make everyone happy

I want to no why people must ***** you no what the format is so if you don't like the format don't go its that easy. if they want to run a numbers format more power to them. I hope it goes great for them with big turnouts. There are lots of tournaments that have a numbers and big 20 go to them if you don't like it. I personally love to kill fish big small and all the in between. I hope to be able to make one of these gatherings.
