Hey guys just wondering what ya'll would recommend for a boat for a budget of under $500 for the boat. I can go over a little bit with lights and stuff. I was looking at buying a custom boat from ******* and stuff but I just can't force myself to blow money on something like a boat (no offense to anyone because it would be nice) because I have other things I could get that I would use 1000 times more. I was thinking bout something that will get me and my buddy out on the river, shooting fish, having a good time *SAFELY*. I am looking for something that can hold weight well becuase me and my buddy weight about 375 lbs. together and I don't want to depend on all electric, I would prefer gas somewhere in the equation because I know of someone who had only a troller in the river and his battery died and he had a nice time getting back to the ramp. I was wondering what you guys would recommend? Appriciate it!

You aren't going to get a reliable, good bowfishing boat and motor and troller and lights for $500.

You can flip a transom mount around and run it on the bow.
