we built this deck over the past 2 weeks, for an 18 foot boat.

Well figure it this way, my deck is 70x70 in aluminum alone I have over $300 stock. The decking isn't wood, however that is another $125 bucks. I did not pay for labor, my friend and I built it together. Add in $500 for the HPS lights, it all adds up. The rivits, welding wire, electrical hookups, mounts to the boat...add all that up it was another few hundred or so...
