Finally bought my first bit o cool aid this week...
Took it to my local bow shop to have them go over it before i used it.
got the go light and took it out to my honey hole
First 3 shots struck home and got 3 fish

Then.... on my next draw...POP
limbs went limp and thats all she wrote...

...so back at the bow shop
guy behind the counter trears it down
then proceeds to tell me he cant figure it out let alone put it back together!!!
So... ummm.... HELP!???? PLEASE WHAT DO I DO????

oh wow, that sounds rough. did you break a cable? any obvious damage? it's useless to take them to 99 percent of bow shops

Nothing was "broken" cables we not in notches on the top cam
But now its so apart i couldnt tell you what it was if i had to....:-(

watch the videos on how to take them down and put them back togther... they are easy to work on once you figure everything out... I'm willing to bet the bow shop didn't have a clue what they were doing and the bow was out of tiller after they worked on it...

If no cables are broken check your timing cable, it may have slipped at the adjustment screw. Just fixed a screamer like that. The wheel cracked at the set screw so it would would not hold the timing tension adjustment. Had to replace the timing system. Not a difficult task with the videos on Joe's site.

i would take skippy up on his offer or call Joneida. i got some stuff from Joe when i bought a screamer on ebay and it needed some new cables and other small parts. and i also got the limbs ground down from 50-70lb to 25-45lbs. Joe does EXCELLENT work and is very helpful.
