Ive been fishing on Black River in Bladen county. we shoot blackfish like crazy with the occasional gar. Im headed to lake waccamaw this weekend in search of my first ever Carp! anyone ever fish that lake? I have no idea where to start but I know they are there. If anyone knows where I should start or even have some general carp tips and tricks Id appreciate it. Ill post some pics of how we do in the river.

why3zx you have yourself a deal. Its like they magically reproduce every night. And they eat everything, which is why bream and bass fishing sucks around here

no thoes are bowfin,mudfish,dogfish diffrent names same thing but there not snake heads

Im going at night. The guy that told me about it said to go to the dam and watch for the grass to move. He said hes not sure if they will be out because hes only been in april and may.
