Cant wait to see the videos, nice shooting!

It is a complete waste of time arguing with tree huggers. Their entire mindset and arguments are based on 100% emotion, no logic or reasoning. I gave up arguing with them years ago because, quite simply, you can't fix stupid. That is not to say it isn't a lot of fun getting them riled up every now and then. However, you will NEVER change one of their minds/opinions by presenting a clear, logical, factual argument.

Thanks for the good words guys! Best part out of the day for me ; the young man on the left who is 13 never shot befor that day ( carp that is). He was watching the carp and I told him to go to the truck and grab a bow out to shoot! The smile and excitement reminded me of when I was young. Left the bow there with him until he can afford a setup and I have been getting emails each day from his dad with the young man behind more piles of fish!

Good job men. I love to see the young ones get into it. The best defense is a good offense when it comes to the anti's. Have the facts, good disposal method, and a cool head. You can beat them anytime with that. They cannot argue with facts but with passion. It really is a one sided fight and I ENJOY MAKING THEM LOOK LIKE FOOLS for opening their mouths. Keep up the good work.

All the huggers at least know they don't have an argument they don't try to they just call us sick and move on. It's the carp fishers that are ignorant. For one they only want us to stop because they like to fish for them. So we are supposed to give up our totally legal sport (which I personally enjoy more than any other outdoor activity) so they can keep doing theirs?!

Second what is all this nonsense about we should be killing Bass if we are killing Carp because Bass are an invasive species too? I'm not a biologist but what little bit of research I've done I've found out that Bass are native to North America. Heck the Largemouth Bass is the state fish of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, and Tennessee! Not to mention if it were legal to shoot sport fish in my state I'd do it! I love the taste of Bass and Crappie. It's just amazing how dumb they can be. All they want is proof from us that carp destroy the environment, but what proof do they have that they don't destroy it? I think we have been able to provide a lot more proof that Carp destroy everything. Look at the facts what do they do besides stir up mud, eat vegetation/coverage, and eat fish eggs..... Gee who wouldn't want to save a species like that?! I challenge the Carp-lovers to come up with ONE positive way Carp affect any body of water they inhabit.

It's just so frustrating. I sat there and read every comment on this picture last night they are all so oblivious. Not one of them gave any reason Carp benefit us other than "nothing fights harder than a 30# Carp on the end of your line..." So you like to catch them so what? I like to shoot them! As for the "no skill stuff" I've been out with enough first time shooters to know that you are lucky if you hit one the first time out. Especially if you aren't used to shooting a bow. I bet half of them don't know almost all bowfishers shoot instinctively. That is literally nothing but skill!

Brother, you hit the nail on the head. This is what I see most of the time with their pathetic attempts to discredit bowfishing. I find it hilarious that after you publicly "squash" any arguement they have then they revert to the ignorant comments. I find it funny that someone against killing stuff can turn into such a violent bad ass...lol.
