You ever smelled a 55 gallon drum full of catfish? they smell bad too, but man o man do they taste good.Im not eatin them! Anything that smells like that AINT worth eatin!
Sort of.Scale them and fillet them only you leave the skin on.The skin keeps it all together after you get done scoring it.That's how we do suckers around here.Carp aint worth a flip.They just about have to be purged before they are any good.I wonder how they clean them. Think ther are just filleting them out like a bass?
Good luck with that.Been there done that.Wayyyy worse than a nasty ole common.Commons are just nasty! cant just fillet them either or you will have bones everywhere. I plan to try a grassie this spring.
