I wonder how they clean them. Think ther are just filleting them out like a bass?

Id be willin to try it, I dont back down from a challenge lol ive et redworms before! Id like to know how to fillet em, yall that have tried it with good results howd yall do it?

Sort of.Scale them and fillet them only you leave the skin on.The skin keeps it all together after you get done scoring it.That's how we do suckers around here.Carp aint worth a flip.They just about have to be purged before they are any good.

Tried a couple small commons this spring-filleted,ground and made into patties with bread crumbs and an egg to bind with a TON of seasoning.Now i can say i've tried everything and won't ever do it again.

Check out fw.ky.gov. They have a big head carp recipe on there with a video under the Kentucky afield section. Also watch tim farmer bowfish and be amazed. We think we are good. We ain't got nothing on farmer!
