Hello All!

Those of you who have me on Facebook, this is old news; For those who don't.. well here is the boat I have been working on the last couple months & feel free to add me (Justin Carpzilla Wilke).

Specs:
- 2072 Custom Hull - Bare Hull Built By John Huebl
- 2002 225hp Optimax
- 40hp Subaru Fan Engine
- 6 Blade, 56" Prop powered by hydraulics. 1.75:1 reduction between Hydraulic Pump and motor. Flow control valve so I can "neutral the fan blades at ANY engine RPM. :D
- Aluminum Trailer (I now have a new hitch receiver so it sits nice and level)

When I built the globe and shroud I wanted to go for something unique. The fan steering is a 1,000lb rated actuator (The front steering column is not yet complete).

like the looks of your hydraulic setup if you reverse the flow of oil will she back up?? what rpm range does the pump give?

If it was closer I prolly would've pulled it home after it was first posted, haha. Beautiful boat and at the right time.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out..:drunk:

Thanks everyone! I will take more pictures as soon as i get it back from the Mercury Dealer. The ones on my phone aren't the best.

Basically: 40hp Engine Drives Pump - Pump goes to selector valve (flow control valve) - One outlet on valve goes to motor and prop - One outlet dumps back into tank - then there is a cooling line that runs through the water. The flow control valve allows me to run the fan blades anywhere from 0 to 1 to 2200 RPMS.

Ill have a video up when i get the boat back.
