Those of you who have me on Facebook, this is old news; For those who don't.. well here is the boat I have been working on the last couple months & feel free to add me (Justin Carpzilla Wilke).
Specs:
- 2072 Custom Hull - Bare Hull Built By John Huebl
- 2002 225hp Optimax
- 40hp Subaru Fan Engine
- 6 Blade, 56" Prop powered by hydraulics. 1.75:1 reduction between Hydraulic Pump and motor. Flow control valve so I can "neutral the fan blades at ANY engine RPM.
- Aluminum Trailer (I now have a new hitch receiver so it sits nice and level)
When I built the globe and shroud I wanted to go for something unique. The fan steering is a 1,000lb rated actuator (The front steering column is not yet complete).
