Just thought Id let you guys know that I am changing the way I take payment if you want points made or any other machine work done. I am now only doing it if i have money in hand when i start.I have had about 2 dozen people promise that they will buy them if i make them only to have wasted time and money that i do not have. I honestly dont understand why, I've been doing oddball stuff like this since i was seventeen and have never had this much trouble.

To those who i accidentally sent the wrong address because me and touchscreens dont mix you are not some of the 2 dozen i talked about that was completely my fault

I don't know if you have any issues with using Paypal but for me to make a payment to someone is the easiest way ive found. Might look into it and talk to a few vendors on here about how they manage it. Fullbore (Zac Miller) works through paypal.

PayPal business accounts are easy I'd recommend it, TJE also works from one. I expect other payment also but PayPal is the easiest. And as far as working before payment lesson learned we've all done it so don't feel bad...

Ive always stayed clear of paypal after we had an identity theft lesson in criminal justice class but i guess i may have to break down and get one. I have always taken money after i finished but that has to change too have have well over a hundred points made and just sitting there. Just getting kinda discouraged i guess.

don't get discouraged. There are plenty of people out there who will want your tips. its slow this tip of year anyway. give it til about March and your business will start picking up. I would be stock piling a few this time of year any way and wait for the rush. JMO

Figure out a way to make a replaceable tip for the Cajun 4 barb Lil Stingers .... and I will buy them lol. I always take payment before I do any work, its the only way to make sure your not wasting time and materials.

Am sure when springtime comes around and the main fishing season cranks up, those will be money in the bank and if all goes good would probably be hard to keep up making them when fishing season cranks back up.

Paypal is ok. I started using Square Up. You'll get a reader and you can take credit card payments over the phone.

Paypal is pretty safe, especially for the seller. ID Theft is easy to prevent by simply keeping your account secure (unique password, strong password, etc.) Paypal will also help you get paid quickly.

How much are ur points? Will they fit the muzzy or ams piranha

PM sent

on a more positive note i tried the padded envelopes for shipping but the post office ladies almost had a breakdown trying to figure out if it would fit through the gauges it was pretty funny. wasn't much cheaper either so i'll probably stick with the $5 boxs for the time being
