before the forum crashed there was a question posted asking about if airboats are allowed in this tournament....Just wanted to clarify...all boats are welcome troller, kicker, fan, airboats, and even paddleboats:tu:....lol:laugh:

Also....Fish Disposal was brought up...currently Upstate Bowfishing have never provided fish disposal (each team has always been responsible for there own fish) but with the expections of this being a "BIG event" we are now discussing our options for possibly providing some sort of fish disposal..If anyone has any ideas please send me or one of the other club officials a PM and try to to junk up the tournament thread.. Thanks!

A suggestion Donnie (scriverrat) had was to make it each teams own personal decision to whether or not they keep/dispose of there own fish or pay for disposal instead of taking the money out of the tournament money to pay for someone to provide fish disposal...With this setup we would have someone with a truck/trailer to provide the fish disposal probably setup near the weigh in and if a team wants (after they
weigh/count there fish) they could pay this person X amount of dollars to
dispose of there fish. Only teams that wanted or needed someone to dispose of
there fish would have to pay for this service...
Once we have made our final decision on how this will be handled it will be posted, but as of right now we do not have anything set up to provide fish disposal.

When you go the world or the muzzy, tell them you don't wanna pay for fish disposal and see how that works out for you. Better yet, go to any big tournament and tell them you don't wanna pay for fish disposal.

Making disposal mandatory is not going to cost anyone any extra money because the entry fee is set. It will end up coming off of the total payout. Which is fine by me. I don't mind loosing a few bucks on the payouts to know that the fish has been handled properly. But just because its handled, doesn't mean that you can't take your fish home if you want to.

FYI, we have been taking a small amount off of our 5 for 5 pots to cover disposal for a while. Its just a cost of doing business and keeping the sport clean and its not caused any one complaint at any of our 5 for 5's. Just sayin that its not really a big deal.

we are already taking a % for the club...didnt realy want to take more for fish disposal......are YOU gonna step up and be the one to take everyone's fish ? i think if someone does take everyones fish, they would come out better charging $10 per boat VS taking $100 off the top...ex.-20 [email protected] $10 per boat=$200...and that way each team has the OPTION...i think most teams will take advantage of it anyway...personaly i like having an OPTION...i have to pay for trash pick up,its made into the sewer bill....i HATE being made to pay $20 per month when i live literaly 5 mins from the trash dump...

As of now :Thursday, january 27,2011 5:50 a.m , we do not have means of fish disposal for this tournement...if someone want's to step up and take everyones fish please shoot us a p.m so we can arrange it to happen....if you have anymore suggestions about fish disposal please PM Dan(turkeymansc) or I(scriverrat)

I doubt they would want that many. If I had to guess, it will be thousands of fish. Most of the fish will probably be gar...

so is this gunna be your turn to get rid of fish or is it my turn?

I have easy access to a 16' Gooseneck dump trailer and plenty of good places to dispose of fish. I just can't commit to it though. I am scheduled to work on the 8th and have no way to know at this time if I can get off.

But Jeremy, If I am there I would be more than happy to get rid of your fish since you took mine at the last dorn creek shoot.
