Had some spare 1" emt laying around so I thought I'd get my lights up off the side of my boat. Used a 1" bender and bent 90's on both ends and the bent the rest of it to the contour of the boat. Didn't turn out too bad, ready to try it out!

what did you use to secure the rail to the gunnel rail.. Can you post a close up of how its connected to the boat? Looking to build something very similiar for my 1648 and 6 150w hps. Thanks

This one actually caught on fire last year, but it snuffed itself before it took the field with it. Couldnt believe it but it didnt even hurt the thing, just charred a couple spots on the paint and kept on rolling. But man there was some serious flames rolling off the back of her! Gues it was just burning off a little oil from the leaks...

Its been through he'll..... i forgot that it flipped a car down the side of her..... This old lady was trying to pass it and she caught the front tire and flipped her on her top and down the entire side of the combine.... People need to have a little more respect for farmers and heavy equipment on roadways!!!

Thanks! I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. Emt stands for electrical metallic tubing. Imc stands for intermediate metal conduit, it I s stronger than emt.

No, steel. EMT has a thin electro galvanized coating inside and out. Not sure on the IMC.
