here's my thoughts, I don't wanna go through the hassle or expense of building a fan, nor do i want to replace my old burnt out batteries and go through the hassle of charging them. don't wanna spend upwards of $100 for an iota and the genny doesn't have the wattage for it anyways. so i started to think and noticed that i have a 4hp small engine sitting around, eureka, i'll build a long tail, don't have to worry about the water cooling sucking up sand and they are made for super shallow areas where typically there's just watery mud and no standing water. so i guess my question is, what are some of the issues of using a long tail as a trolling motor?
