I saw this on another forum years ago. Thought it would be fun to try here.

I found a beer can once!! no kidding right in the middle of the lake. lol I did find a pet cemetery once about 6 mi from the nearest two track. It probably had 10 to 15 head stones all in nice order. With a decorative Iron rail fence on two sides and a stone wall on the other sides. The oldest head stone I could read was 1905. The newest was 1951 there were some I could not read. I have also found some Head stones in the middle of the desert that were crumbled and unreadable. One time a found some pictographs on the side of a cliff. Told a buddy at the university about it. A month later it was fenced off oh well. What have you Found?

He is a story almost like Kugers..
A friend of mine takes a group to Colorado elk hunting every year. they unload at a trail head and ride into a large block about 30miles to camp. In 2009 they unloaded at the trail well before daylight and rode all day to reach the camp site before dark. To their surprise there was an elderly couple already camped there when they arrived. It was almost dark so they set up there anyway. They were really surprised since there were no vehicles at the trail head or fresh horse tracks on the trail.

Over the next few days, they got to know the couple. They learned they had been married for over 40 years but had never been able to have kids. They hung around camp and cooked for everyone for 10 days untill my friends all tagged out and became close friends. When my buddies got ready to leave, they said their goodbyes to the lady and the man decided to ride out with them. They rode out all day and offered to let the man spend the night in one of their trailers but the fellow turned around and was going to ride going to ride back in. He told them his wife had terminal cancer and didnt want to be away from her so he tearfully turned and headed back up the trail.

In 2010, my friends returned for their annual hunt. When they arrived at camp, there was the old couples camp still there. The snow had caved the tent in but everything was there. The scattered skeletons of their horses were still there. the skulls with halters on them and bullet holes in their foreheads. My friends contacted the sherrifs dpt and gave the names they had for the couple but they weren reported missing and were never found.

A couple years ago, Sam and i were alligator scouting on a large East tx ranch in may. We were walking along a creek and I saw a loc on stand. There was a hanger above it with a mathews adrenaline bow hanging on it. The bow had an arrow knocked with a 100gr Muzzy. There was also a quiver with three more arrows in it laying on the ground. The hardware on the bow was rusted a little and some corrosion on the broadhead. We left it there and when we got out, called the rancher figuring it belonged to one of his hunters. He said he had no idea the stand was there and went back to get the bow.

I wish i had just got it then!

Last winter I found a dead body. It had snowed for a couple days and the ground still had a light dusting on it. I decided to take a walk through the woods behind my parents house to look for some sheds. Walking around the outside of a pond about a half mile from my parents porch I noticed a young man sitting on the pond bank. He did not speak to me and I continued on my hunt for sheds not thinking to much about it. I started noticing foot prints in the snow in the direction I was heading so I stayed on them for another 100 yards or so. I found a wallet with a couple items from the wallet laying on the ground. I picked up the wallet with intentions on taking it to the police department. I walked another 15yrds and noticed a male subject laying face first in the snow with his pants at his knee's. At that point I called the police and stated my exact location. In the mean time while I was waiting on the police to show I started looking for signs of foul play. I noticed opposed to my foot prints there was the foot prints of the victim and another set of prints. Knowing I had seen a weird subject at the pond bank I made my way back towards the pond and noticed the young man I had seen by the pond was no longer there. The police showed up I stated everything I had seen and I checked the newspaper three days later and they ruled it as the guy froze to death. We live in a very small town and are police department is a freaking joke. Still to this day I won't let my little sister go back into those woods or to the pond. Pretty weird situation. I will never go into the woods again without a side arm.

One day while fishing flooded backwater.. I looked down to see wht appeard to be a grabblin box... The more I studied it the more it appeared to be not wht I thought it was. Being the person I am I had to check it out I set it on the boat a took a wrench to bust a piece of the wood inside wasbags of money in ziplock bags. Being the HONEST Person tht I am I reported it to the authorities the officer counted out $12,781 to be exact an I was shocked. Turns out about 18 years ago the bank in our town was robbed the police caught the robber but the money was never found well I guess lady luck was on my side because the bank had gone outta business an it wasn't a chain kinda thing ( just a local bank) so the money was retired to me.... I'm now known as the local town hero for finding the stollen money.... I gave s contribution to the town an the rest was a downpayment on my new boat........who says bowfishing doesn't pay off!!!

I'm j/k none of this is true made it up as I went JUST WANTED TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS THREAD!!!

I got my line snaged one day and swam out to get it back, ended up pulling a pretty nice mountain bike out. One of the strangest stories was a guy found and returned my cousins class ring to him 10 years after my cuz lost it in the water kneeboarding at a local city lake.

one time me and dustin cole thought we saw big foot at this big river place where it connects to the main lake...and dustin got real scared and said it was the boogie man and lets the f outta here...and he tried to hold on to me but not being the queer he was.....I told him to get the F off me and get my glock side arm and he needs to get ready to dome shot anything that comes out of the weeds we were next too. at first we thought it was a hog but when we got close we looked at the footprints and it looked like large man footprints....pretty freaken weird. I havent been back to that spot. Dad seemed to think it was a bear or escaped gorilla or something.
