so a local lake around where i live banned bowfishing about a year ago. now they want all the carp out of the lake but wont let us shoot em so there having a carp tourney with a grand prize of $50. my friend and i are trying to get them to allow use to shoot the lake and just buy a permit to do it. that way the carp are out of the lake and they make some money. the problem im having is the lady that runs the lake is a royal ahole and a huge liar. she even told me that the local fish and game hates bowfishing which is kinda funny cause when i shot my snapping turtle last year he thought it was the coolest thing and he has helped me quite a bit on laws for the area. so my question after all that is whats the best way to go about this? im not even sure who at the city i need to talk to. thanks.

could use some advice
i dont want to get shooting banned state wide but i really like that lake. it has the best shooting around here. and since i lost my job last week i cant travel like i had panned atleast not until i start working again. which for what i do im gonna have to move to do it anyway.
Help remove them and help vegetation grow. Dump fetilizer in the lake. Take care of the fish problem.
Hate to sound pescimistic but as we speak they are attemting to ban coyote calling contests and want to make it illegal to shoot a coyote.....we are on shaky ground
