I had what will probably be my last meeting with Robert before picking up my boat. It should be ready the middle of next week. We're going to add some more rail in front of the console, stiffen the handrail posts, add a footrest & light bracket, some storage keepers, finish up the fan tower and then add 18" high side rails at each rear corner. If the trailer is ready in time I should be bringing it home next weekend. :D

F & F is over for those of you that were trying to call them.
I had heard they closed and a new owner reopened. You may be right though since the phone number on the website is no longer a good number. That's a shame if so. My buddy had and F&F. It was really well built!

That's going to be one hell of a Floundering Rig
Flounder, bowfish, grabbing, trot lining, frogging, gator hunting, night fishing, we'll do it all. This really started off as a gator hunting rig to reduce up & down steps in the boat and get around in the shallows and pads but I got to enjoying reading the flounder gigging and bowhunting forums I decided my boat would have to work for both of these as well.

I'm anxious to get it home and start the rigging process. The real work for me starts next week.

She's home and now it's time to make some decisions about paint, deck surfacing, & rigging for my new flounder, bowfishing, alligator hunting boat. Robert Thomas of Long Beach Custom Aluminum Boats was a pleasure to work with through the entire process. I didn't even mind signing that check!

No doubt. Let's see pics!

I haven't done anything with the tank yet. Soon after getting it home 3 thugs robbed my wife's salon at gun point terrorizing her and her customer. Had to open her up a new salon in a better area which was my power and rigging money and then it was hunting season and then Christmas so the poor thing has just been sitting out there taking up space. I think I have somebody to paint it tan natgear once season ends and I've gotten back to shopping motors so maybe some more progress to show within a month or two.

Not trying to hijack but here she is. 1760. I'm going to rig it out myself so I just bought a bare hull. I'm kinda stuck too. Until my old rig and my dads truck sell this will set in the yard. But at least it's here. That's one step in the right direction. I couldn't he happier my long beach.

Lakes, bays and rivers. Ain't nothing safe! I fish for everything texas has to offer and use every legal means to do it. I have spent my whole life chasing fish and Lord willing I will spend the rest of my life doing the same.
