Never fabricated anything b4 so any help is very apreciated. I have a fiberglass tri-hull that I want to put a deck on. I really want to keep it flat and made out of aluminum. How would I go about braceing it and what size aluminum should I use? Also what would be the best way to attach it? And for the fellow ky guys where do I get the alum. I need? Can't seem to find anywhere around here (madisonville) when I google it.

Rather than aluminum, you might want to consider 1/2 and 3/4 inch EMT conduit. It is a lightweight metal that is very strong, readily available, bendable, and inexpensive. When combined with some flat plate steel and some pipe fittings, you can do just about anything with it using a simple wire feed welding machine.
Good luck!

Use 2x1 tubing, 16 on center upfront, forget what the back ended up being, 6ft wide in the front and 7 in the back. 6 ft long. Used 1/4 plate for the light mounting plates, and 1/8 inch for the floor. Legs were 14 inches, and knee rails 18 tall out of 1x1 tubing. 2 guys could pick it up probably 150 lbs before the lights and troller.
