DEEP FRIED SKUNK

2 skunks, dressed
Water
1 1/2 c. beer
2 c. oil
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Cut skunk into serving-size pieces; place in pot with salt; add water to cover. Boil for 35 minutes, then skim off the scummy residue that rises to the top. Drain.
Prepare a batter by mixing flour, beer and salt. Dip meat in batter and deep fry until golden brown.

CAUTION: Be certain that the scent glands are removed!

Great with Dandelion Salad.

all mental guys. at camp every year we try and come up with something the others wont eat. its gets interesting.
hell alot of people wont eat woodchucks but there tasty to.
to date ive had about every animal that lives in pa. one thing i havent tried is is a rat and mice. just wont do it:cool:

This is the first time Ive ever heard of someone who has a recipe for a skunk. Im a guy who loves to eat exotic food but this is something really unique.
