Ok so I order 8 of the 9x9 150watt hps from Getz Lighting. Which beat econolights price but can't seem to get my order right! The first time they sent me the 6x9's and this time the sent me the right lights but it looks to me like the wrong ballast. I emailed him specifically asking if it had the hx-hpf ballast and he said that it did. They then sent me the 6x9s lol. Now these look like a 9x9s with an npf ballast. I have no hps light experience but they are supposed to have a cap in them to and I don't see one? Can anyone tell me what I got here? Thanks guys
If someone could blow these up I'd appreciate it

No cap in there that just ballast and igniter. You could just order some 55f caps an add them yourself

I don't know about the company you ordered from but i know we got our lights from econolite and they were right the first time with the exception that a few of our bulbs didn't work. But we called them and had new bulbs within a couple of days with no questions ask. They were great to deal with in my opinion. Sorry to hear about your luck with this company

What was I thinking waiting til this time of year to buy them!

So the 120v version has the npf ballast and the quad tap has the hpf ballast with capacitor correct? Is that the only difference between 120 and quad tap?

Thats a big 10-4 there buddy! The only difference between a npf (normal power factor) and a hpf/quad tap (high power factor/quad tap) is the hpf/quad tap uses a capacitor that allows the light to run on lower amps.
