In an effort to help keep some activity on here, I'm just gonna start asking every question that pops into my head.

Do custom builds need to be painted? I really like the look of a shiny homebuilt boat, but didn't know if they need to be painted for any special reason.

I like the look also, but. I prefer paint to cut the glare down, if you do much day shooting I would think you would want a paint job.

Mine is not painted, although its not bright and shiny like new anymore. Shot plenty of big fish during the day out of it.

Gatorglide on the bottom. Leave her chrome up top unless you plan on shooting ducks out of it.

Mine is still shiney. Probably stay that way with the exception of some stickers maybe a wrap someday. I like paint just never had much luck with it sticking and looking good.
