Ehh......I think bottles are like fat chicks. Everyone puts em down, but at the end of the night they still dont sleep in their own bed. "The only guy at the prom with guilt is the guy that got the prom queen that wont put out"

I love bottles for their simplicity. I dont have to worry about if the handle hit my hip, a branch, a magic fart of wind....etc and closed the pin. I dont have to worry about firing a 15 dollar arrow in to a fish and watching it swim away. I just shoot, and slow or fast the fish comes back. Cant remember the last time the clicker or antireverse got tripped on my bottle and caused me an issue.

Spinners fly better, I guess if you suck and miss they come back faster....Ill have to take all the posters above word for it. As far as getting fish back faster....maybe small gar or LITTLE tiny carp. Most of the fish I shoot are over 8-10 pounds, so they have enough guts you cant just yank em in most of the time.

come shoot some GG up in some creeks and flooded stuff with your spinner. you may not have any problems...or maybe youll have an 8 footer run you under a log and cut you off...your choice

both reels have their place

i shoot both muzzys are faster but when i hit large fish and need 400 lb, line shoot retrivers.

We just yank a 10lb fish in the boat with a spinner. I shot a bottle for years Im probably going to pick up a slotted retriever for when I go out alone and I'm only looking for big fish. I just think it would be awesome to not have to fight the fish and the boat while worrying about a pull off.when I shoot a 50lb grass carp

I'm not gunna lie I miss a lot I use ams Ive shot with reel guys I definitely don't see 2x difference when shooting banks. When my arrow gets stuck in the bottom of the **** at the bottom of the lake I wrap my hand and rip my arrow out I wouldnt trust spinnerline to do that but I also shoot 55lbs almost everyone using spinners shoot like 25 to 35 lbs when I shoot fish my arrow almost always passes thru and onto the line. That's just me tho I guess

150# muzzy tournament line or 200# fast flight

Muzzy muzzy muzzy...........I just converted myself a month ago and really kicking myself in the a$$ for not doing it sooner.
