Ok so the past three times I've gone out I've torn up a trolling motor. Just bought the latest one yesterday and will return tomorrow but with that being said I think I'm completely done with a trolling motor. Just to much pain in the A** :headbang:. I could rant and rave but it's pointless. Down to the point I have about $1100 to spend and a ton of stuff to trade((Small boats, guns, etc.) (or sell if I can find a fan resonably priced). Does anyone have a fan they are willing to part with that would work on a 2072? I don't care how fast it pushes as long as it pushes. I don't fish at 15mph and dont need a fan to go that fast really. Troller speed is just fine. I can pretty much see how to build one myself if I had to but I don't know about prop pitch, size of prop and how to run the steering. And to finish I've read just about every thread on fans through the search and I'm still clueless so any input would be useful. *End extremely mad typing* :laugh:

Just get a kicker motor b a whole lot cheaper n less issues and a lot quieter

how about I give you $1500 and my wife. She claims shes worth millions so it's got to be a good deal for you. Hell, give me two months after you take her and I'll give you the rest of the 6k also :laugh:. On a serious note that mower is a 10k mower so let me see if I can pawn it off on one of the lawncare places around here and I might get with you if I can. Where are you located?

Don't think a kicker is gonna work around here. Texas waters are shallow and brutal. Instead of replacing an $800 troller everytime I go out id be replacing a lower. Only thing I could think of that would be cool is rig up mud motors but after I rebuilt the transom on my boat, bought the motors, ran the steering etc. I'd have well over 15k in the setup and then I'd only be able to run about 25mph.

Im having my second child in december so I figure I'll be on lockdown around then but keep me posted. I can build a shroud no problem and heck maybe I could use Uship and become a TV star lol. I'll let you know either way in a couple days once Father's day is over and everyone decides its time to work again. There was a guy who had a 38 horse fan on here for $2800 not to long ago but I've text and called and haven't heard back.

im with you, ive broken roughly 7 trollers in less than 2 years, i just bought a 82 pound thrust great white and it lasted 2 trips. needs new brushes but they dont make them anymore, so i have a 400 dollar paper weight!
