Don't beat me up for asking a dumb question, so here goes. Are all the newer bow fishing specific compounds pretty much in the 40-50 lb draw weight? Most seem to be around 40 and just seemed kind of low to me. Now this is coming from a guy with 30 years of bow fishing with a 50 lb or higher recurve, so excuse my ignorance on the matter. Seeing bows listed at 30-40 lbs saying how much carp/gar busting power they possess kind of surprised me, please enlighten me. I'm interested because I convinced the wife I needed a new rig and need an education on the newer gear. Thanks in advance.
