I am going to build a new aluminum fan shroud and like the sd style cages. What material size are you guys using-outer rings and cross bars?

i used 1' square tubing 1/8 thick

we're using 3/4 steel square tubing for a little less weight

Exactly, is the main frame like .75 schedule 40 and the small cross bars like .25 ?
