Muzzy w/ carp tip

 

I stick with my TNT 2 barb.

 

Cajun Sting-A-Ree Point, for everything

 

I dont like the sting a rees because when the fish twirl around they spin the tip and pull the barbs around and get off... Even if you tighten the chit down

 

I can't have one! gene davis 2 barb is my fav but as i ran into the situation of shooting bluecats carp and rays all on the same shoreline, it sure is nice having a innerlock 3 barb.

 

I have tried a lot of points but my go to all around point is an RPM fathom. Surprising holding power for a quick release point.

 

Why do you like the fathom? How does this point release the fish, the NOS by rpm you can simply rotate the shaft ...is the fathom as quick as the NOS when releasing fish?

 

Innerlock 3 barb for sure to hold those big fish.

SO many different ones?!! What is the BEST all around point?

 

Used the cajun long barbs and interlock 3 barb grapples. I liked both of them. Just tried the Gene Davis, and I'll never switch back. GD hands down bud! :tu:

 

Can you explain why you like the GD better than other two?

^^^^ this exactly if u don't want em coming off shoot the 4 barbs and clip 2 of the barbs halfway just in case u don't get good penetration on a long or deep shot and the fish won't come off. But for gar and smaller fish nothings faster than the surshots but a big fish will come off because the barbs are fixed unlike the muzzy

 

But my favorite is the Shureshot penatrators with the barbs pushed in closer for smaller holes!

 

Do you just pinch them together with a pliers?

Big fish lil stinger 4 barb, use to shoot Gene Davis but broke off the barbs all the time. Small fish Muzzy Carp point.

Am I the only one who use the AMS Chaos point? Landed a 22 pounder that was only shot about halfway through!

 

still a new point and the jury not out yet so its hard to be a favorite. from what i hear, they bend easy.

 

I havent had a single problem and being a noob im pretty hard on my stuff lol. I love them and being able to get a complete arrow for $15 on eBay is pretty nice!

I shoot mostly catfish and haven't had a big one pull off yet with the 4 barb GD

Muzzy w/carp point seems to work for me, plus they are cheap since I don't shoot with slides.
