Table Rock lake has a ban on all airboats it's been that way for as long as I can remember last year bass pro got a pass for the tournament but they were denied this year due to all the complaints last year
Hey bud do me a favor a post up the link prior to the us open last year that talks about a ban on airboats on table rock. I just called the guy a work with and he said it sounds like BS, because lakes don't have ordinances like small municipalities do. The water patrol is the only one aloud to enforce water laws and he said no where in missouri or in the state statues does any lake have ban on airboats or air power. It can only be enforced by decimal level which would make other boats illegal down there also. If you can find me a link I'll show it to him, but he said someone may be blowing smoke.

Thats what i was wanting to know right there. i have never found it illegal for airboats just the decibel ratings. One day i would love to have my own airboat, but would see no point in it if Missouri has outlawed them. If it is just the decibel rating then there has to be a way to muffle the boat enough to make it legal even running full throttle across big lakes at night time. Obviously open headers are out of the question. But anyways, sorry to highjack your thread. lol. Great looking boat and great pile of fish.

Your good buddy! Hopefully someday missouri just gets rid of the decimal level!

Yea, Brilliant!

Alot of guys in Missouri long before you came along worked very hard to get fishing past midnight legal. It took years. Personally I have nothing against airboats I have fished from them myself they are a blast! But having them around inhabited lakes is nothing but trouble waiting to happen. They are probably banned at the US open because their operators took it upon themselves to do stupid stuff around houses and docks. Seems like almost everywhere they are allowed trouble follows eventually. Don't take all night fishing in Missouri for granted and please for god sakes try not to ruin it for others.

I am not really sure there is a maximum decimal level but I know there is a maximum deciBel level.

You seem to be some what of a prick with a chip on your shoulder. I know they will never get rid of the decibel level. I was makeing conversation. A guy in a 1648 can ruin it for everyone. I agree. But being a smart operator is the key. I can tell your prolly the guy no one wants in the boat because you prolly spend your time being politically correct... So with all do respect stay of my thread, I didn't title it "please come hijack, Brett"

I don't have a link but I have heard this my whole life also heard it last year from the water patrol himself that airboats are banned on all navigatable water ways in mo, this may all be false but its what I heard personally from the water patrol. And no offense to all you airboat owners but I don't see the need what so ever for a airboat in Missouri but that's just my opinion I have nothing against them

Moral of the story is Awesome night shooting and idiots will be idiots despite what kind of boat they are in.

Like I said I work with a water patrolmen. And you Definatly got smoke blown up your boat. That is completely not the truth. I hate to tell you but there is no state statue they specifically says airpower. Believe me I had to learn the water laws along with the traffic laws. I even asked the sergeant teaching the course. It's all based on the noise level.

Nice shooting! :tu:

man that looks like a fun nite yall had there that almost makes me wanna take a trip to Missouri

hahaha good shooting man

Why would you be able to kill so much more off an air boat than your troller in your opinion? covering more water would be my guess if your troller carried the same shooters.
