We are fairly new to the sport so any suggestions will be appreciated. Just finished the fab work of extending the deck. We plan on covering it with the same vinyl the original deck was done in. Also planning on running 8-10 150w HPS LIGHTS.
I have a similar boat that i am building right now. Was yours a center counsel or did you convert it? Im doing a 6' x 7' raised deck with 8 50 watt leds and 2 30 watt leds on the back. I have interior torn out prepping for the new dura coat rubberized covering. Carpet def had to go. What size motor you running on it? Looks good so far.
It was center console when we bought it. I think that's the name of the flooring we are gonna use. We have a 50 merc to get us by until our marriages and checking accounts recover from what we've spent so far. Next year we re definitely gonna upgrade to a 100+hp motor.
Ya mine has a 90 merc on it now, i have not run it yet to see what itl do. Hoping to get mid to high 30's out of it. Previuos owner ran at over 40 with just fishing poles on board. Boat is actually rated for a 150 which is suprising for an 1860. Checked the cans of coating it called tuff coat from bass pro or cabelas. Seems like a good quality hull. All welded with aluminum floors etc. we will see how it holds up.
