Other than what rules and regs I can find only should I watch out for anything while im down there? Visiting for a short while Dec 6-9 looking to just shoot something to get off the bucket list of hitting saltwater fish! Any info or tips would be great Thanks for you time.

Nothing major, just be aware of the species you can and cannot harvest with a bow. Sheepshead should be thick in the shallows along with drum, you can only shoot the blacks and the have a slot. Not sure what it is off the top of my head. Florida doesn't play with infractions so don't get caught with your pants down. You should see a wide variety of fish!! Mullet are a blast to shoot if they're still around. Good luck! If I was in the area I would take ya out.

Not sure about down there but up here in the panhandle the big southern rays are out this time of year and the sheepshead are in hard. Specks and reds are off limits but also little reef fish like puffers, spades, and others. No pompano either or craps.
