what do yal have for front ignition switch. i have a key switch that works good till it gets wet from rain then it stops working till it dries out. i have bought 3 and there all the same.

I use a key switch and have been for the past 4 years. Never had a problem with it. It has been hammered by rain, snow and salwater. It is embedded in an aluminum box but the outside of the switch still gets wet. This is a regular switch that will fit a briggs and stratton engine.

As long as you protect the back of the switch there shouldn't be any issues.

I have a on/off toggle switch with a momentary push button. Never had a problem with it and water

Same here. Both have a rubber water resistant boot on them
