We have armor plated buffs to compete with the armor plated carp in California--Marty shot him with his Oneida and the arrow bounced off.

About the Bounce-out ..............It doesn't matter, it would have still died quicky anyway, once the Kool-Aid got in it's bloodstream.!!!!!! :tu:

I just got off the phone with Marty and the ONEIDA shot was in the head and he pulled back 3 huge scales on the arrow thats why it "bounced" off. They center punched it with the ALPINE MAKO and it was stunned from the head shot and made it easier to get in the boat! AWESOME!!!!!

I watched my roommate shoot a common in the head with his 60lb draw Mathews and soon as the carp started swimming away the arrow pulled right out, it hadn't even stuck to the barbs... Carp can have some pretty dang tough heads it surprised the chit outa me at least.
