I have a Champion 3500/4000 watt generator running 10 econo hps lights with a ballast box. My generator is positioned directly behind the seat on the boat in the dead center of my back platform. So my problem is for whatever reason whenever I am running my big motor right before I get it to go on plane the generator will just cut off. It only does it when Im running the big motor, I ran it last night for 7 hours straight and it never once skipped a beat it just does it when the big motor is running. Has anybody else had this problem? If so how can I fix it?

I had a similar problem with a Champion 3500/4000 when running my fan. Yours is probably the oil sensor if it dies while you're boat is unlevel and getting up on plane. But mine was dying whenever I would start and run the fan with the boat still sitting level. Finally figured out that the on/off switch had a bad connection and the vibration would kill it. Unwired the switch and never had a problem. I just had to ground it out to kill it from then on.
