Ok I tried the search function and I am either horrible with it or not typing in the right phrases. My genny has a 12v cigarette light that has a 8.3 amp breaker on it. Can I just wire a plug from my genny to my battery and will it help keep it charged to run the trolling motor? My troller is only 12v. I know it won't be enough to run the motor completely but will I gain anything out of it at all? Maybe help keep the battery charged a little? I am not opposed to buying a powermax converter but my battery almost long enough for the whole night just wondering if i am going to see any change or am I wasting my time? Thanks in advance.
