I've only been killing carp since June of last year and was wondering when you guys start seeing carp? I'm just getting so excited and cant wait any longer!

I cant wait either. Talked to the Nelson's tonight and Tyler said he was going to cut a hole in the ice and look for em this weekend..... aside from that mabey late March to mid April.

I've been wanting to take my boat out on the river that feeds into Ogden Bay but with the snow melting its running pretty fast and high.

We usually start shooting around the end of March in Idaho. If the water levels are on our side that is. I believe this year we are going to give it a whirl in a week or two. Can't wait to start wack'n some fish!:hb:

Went out to Pineview friday just to check out where the north fork stream runs in. Well, I found alot of open water and one lucky muskrat that I almost let my arrow fly at. Its funny how everything in the water looks like a carp when I get desperate.

I finally found some carp in the shallows waiting to be skewered! Shot three and landed two from the bank. Would of shot more but I brought my pup along and she couldn't resist the urge to jump in the water.
