I know,it is against all a trapper...especially a coyote trapper knows but what you have described is exactly what you need...I bet your surprised...if there is cats in the area,they cant resist..My grand dad taught me to be over careful and conscience of every little detail,and that has served me well on canines,and it put plenty of Bobs on the stretchers too,but running with Dave Bird,one of the best Bobcat men to ever live threw everything out the door on cats.Pick up a little book by Wiley Carrol called a Corral Full of Cat sets,they are just a plethora of rough sketches of sets....you will see why I say,use your imagination

Had a rat robbed out of a cubby so I reset my guide sticks and step over log. Hopefully that will fix it. Dry fire in a big fancy flat set. I could tell where he blew out the back of it. I think I'm getting close.
