We pulled off a 2nd place (341.9lbs) finish at the tourney this weekend along with big fish (39lbs)! Couldn't have been happier to team up with my wife and best bud! We made quite the team!

Been a while since I've done anything to the boat so I started getting an itch. I built a new floor and center console. My floor is not done yet as I was going to take an easy and cheap way out and just do a steel frame with 3/4" treated plywood on top. So I have the plywood piece done but haven't gotten to the frame yet.

Took advantage of MLK Jr day yesterday and built a CC. I will update as I continue to work on it. Long ways from being done yet.

Next steps are to install a new switch panel, install new steering cable and hook up the throttle again. After building the rest of the floor of course

Took advantage of a day off from work today to tackle some more boat work.

I wanted to redo the little tunnel in the floor in the boat so I thought I’d try some treated 3/4” plywood and a steel frame for strength. So I had the local welder make me this frame out of 1” square tubing. Total bill there was like $75. So I bought some self taping screws to hold it all together then clamped my cc down to where I want it. To be continued as usual

Lots of hard work goes into boats like this. The estimated value will never replace the hard work that goes into something like this. I tip my hat to you sir.

Little update. Proud to announce we welcomed a baby girl into the world on Friday 4/5/19!! So now that I’ve got the next two weeks off I thought I’d catch up on the boat project. I finally got the steering cable installed today! Only thing left now is wiring the new switch controls and drink holders lol
