You need the backpack to use the app. Just got a hero 2 with the backpack and its nice. Need to do all the updates first before you use it or it won't work right

having trouble downloading videos to my computer. Short one were downloading fine but the longer ones won't download. What program do I need to use ?

Got it. VLC Media Player works pretty good.

I have the Hero HD 2 and did this video using the WVGA mode, not sure which frame rate, I think 60 but I may be wrong.

Where is the cheapest place to pick one up? I'm thinking about gettin a GoPro2. I don't need the newest and lastest. LOL

cheapest place we have found is Walmart.com. It's this hero 2 white version with free sd card.

I like the "ah Chit" on the lifts into the boat, nice vids. I have the Hero 2, what editing software are you using and I assume you used the headmount strap? Did you just have it on your head, around a hat or what? Never tried the headmount that came with the camera and not sure how comfortable it's going ot be on a 5 hour outing? Tried it on and it feels sloppy and kinda afraid if I lean over the edge of the boat it might pop off my head into the water. Anyone lost theirs off their head?

I used the head mount during duck season. It actually works great, but would fall off when I would shoot straight up.

I used the head mount just strapped on my head, no hat. After a while you'l forget it's there. I use Sony Vegas Pro for the video editing.
