Hey everybody! I’m new here. Never been bow fishing but I’d sure like to give it a go. Currently in search of big alligator gar. I am in the process of learning to tan fish skin and I need all the skin I can get! Doesn’t matter if it’s gar, carp, catfish, whatever. I hope to make wallets, purses, belts, BOOTS, and SHOES!
I’ll take any advice I can get. I’m in Northeast Louisiana.

Need pictures? Though, pictures don’t really do it justice. You can’t feel how soft it is.
If there’s any fisherman nearby that can help me acquire skins, I’m more than ready to be taken seriously. I’m just one girl and I can only fish so much. I don’t have a boat at the moment, though I’m in the process of building a canoe. But that’s another story.
