Excited for this project. Have a lot of plans for it. Starting midway through the season, so it's going to get going quick!!

Original build thread from FireNhunt : Bought another boat

She's been sitting in the sun for a few years. First on the list is a good sanding and a new paint job. Going to go with a snow camo pattern.

Digital ballasts are already on order, new housing probably in a week or so. Going with 6 400W lights. Got HPS/MH switchable ballasts. Havent decided what I am going to go with.

All new interior LEDS ordered.

Next then will be new hydroturf and new seats. Should be pretty much ready for the water then. Then this winter will be some new goodies.

My first thoughts: Remove the seats. Move the console to the front right behind the deck and free up all that wasted floor space.

Second thought: With having an inboard motor and not an outboard this would be a sweet fan rig because we can keep the fan really low to the boat.

Good luck Jeff. Glad to see you back. Maybe doo something about these suspicious profiles hanging around

I would
Move it forward but I really don’t want to mess with the steering and throttle cables. Maybe down the road. This used to be a kicker boat. This winter I may gather up everything and return it back to a kicker boat. For mean time I’m going to run a troller.

Today I removed the forward seat, all the lights and wiring. Tomorrow going to remove the deck and sand the boat and trailer. Going to give it a new coat of paint. But will be changing the color scheme on the boat. Going to leave the forward seat out. I think I’m just going to run a bench seat in the rear eventually. Not sure yet. Any opinions? I have an aluminum truck tool box I may see if it will fit the and mount seats to it and can mount my converters and digital ballasts in it.

Oh yeah I like that!

Just notch each side out a little and tack it in place and all it good

Been busting my ass on this boat. Tons of sanding and prep work but wanted to give you a little sneak peak of some big changes. Hoping to have inside and out finished painted this weekend.

powdercoated a few parts last night for a little color contrast. Got the new seat mounted. Gotta wire in the new fish finder. Ballasts came today. Still trying to find new housings.

I sold this one not too long ago. Was just too long to fit in the garage. Loved the boat though

Got all the interior paint all done. Just have a little bit left on the left side of the boat and then paint trailer. Then it’s on to wiring in the interior lights, fish finder and new bilge pump. Need to get some new bunk boards and side bunks, carpet for them should be here tomorrow. Ballasts came in yesterday, still in search for housings. Slowly getting there

Got fish finder mounted and wired in. Got 5 out of the 8 led pods installed. Had to order some extensions to finish last 3 on the left side. Was going to wire in new bilge pump tonight but it’s mid 90s in my garage and 2 hours was enough. Prob won’t be able to work on it until mid next week since tomorrow it’s supposed to be 105. Too hot to tinker

Boats pretty much ready for the water, waiting for new impeller. Got all wiring finished up, now just doing more cosmetic stuff. Powdercoated the seat bases and seat posts. Just need to get all new stainless hardware.
